Excited students filled the halls of Surigao City Pilot School (SCPS) on February 26-27, 2025, as they embarked on a thrilling educational adventure. Learners from Kindergarten to Grade 6 had the unique opportunity to explore the mysteries of the universe through a Planetarium, 3D Film Viewing, and an Interactive Exhibit, all brought by Jhayron Events Management Services.
The two-day event brought things to the school allowing young minds to travel beyond the walls of their classrooms and into the vastness of space and world. The immersive experience sparked curiosity as students marveled inside the planetarium, watched in-awe 3D films, and engaged with interactive exhibits that deepened their understanding of astronomy and environmental awareness.
Inside the Planetarium, students were able to see the planets and gaze at planets that once seemed so distant. The 3D Film Viewing added another layer of excitement, had exploration to life with stunning and engaging visualizations in the forest with animals, oceans with sea animals, and even in the surrounding ice with polar bears. These experiences provided a rare opportunity for learners to see and feel the wonders of the world up close.
Meanwhile, the Interactive Exhibits allowed students to get hands-on with Science. From exploring the food eaten by the astronauts, portraits of the different animals, and many more exciting activies.
“It was an unforgettable experience for our students,” shared by a Classroom Adviser. “They weren’t just learning – they were inspired.” The event showcased the power of experiential learning, proving that hands-on engagement makes complex topics more accessible and exciting for young minds.
Through events like this, SCPS continues to nurture young minds, proving that education is not confined to textbooks but thrives in experiences that ignite curiosity and wonder. By bringing learning beyond the classroom, SCPS fosters a love for Science, exploration, and environmental responsibility among its students, preparing them to be future stewards of the world and our planet.
